05

Corporate Income Tax Return: File the applicable Form C-S, Form C-S (Lite) or Form C by 30 November of the year following your financial year-end, unless a filing waiver applies. For example, a financial year ending 31 March 2026 generally has a filing deadline of 30 November 2027.

What Our Clients Say

Frequently
Asked
Questions

The filing requirements depend on your company’s ownership, solvency and eligibility for any applicable exemptions.

Solvent Exempt Private Companies: A private company with no more than 20 shareholders and no corporation holding a beneficial interest in its shares, directly or indirectly, generally qualifies for a filing exemption if it can meet its debts as they fall due. The exemption relates to filing financial statements with ACRA and does not, by itself, remove the obligation to prepare them.

Overseas-Owned Subsidiaries: A Singapore subsidiary with a corporate shareholder does not qualify as an exempt private company, even if its parent is based overseas. It generally needs to file financial statements with ACRA unless another exemption applies. We assess the filing requirements relevant to your company.

An outsourced accounting firm manages agreed finance functions for your business, such as bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, payroll and tax compliance. At Acconate, we also provide Corporate Secretarial and Virtual CFO support, allowing you to select services that match your needs.

The right approach depends on your transaction volume, operational needs and internal resources. Outsourcing gives you access to professional support across several finance functions without building a full internal team. We can manage agreed accounting responsibilities or work alongside your existing finance staff.

Yes. Foreigners can generally own all the shares in a Singapore private limited company. The company must meet local requirements, including having at least one director ordinarily resident in Singapore and a Singapore registered office address. We guide you through the incorporation process and the requirements relevant to your circumstances.

A Virtual CFO service provides senior financial guidance without employing a full-time CFO. Acconate delivers this support through our team, working with management on cash flow, budgeting, reporting and strategic financial decisions. It can suit businesses that need more financial oversight than routine accounting alone provides.

Cross-border business structuring advisory considers how companies, ownership and intercompany arrangements are organised across different jurisdictions. We help assess the financial and commercial implications and coordinate with relevant local tax and legal advisers where specialist advice is required.

A sole proprietorship is owned by an individual and is not legally separate from its owner, who is personally responsible for its debts and obligations. A private limited company is a separate legal entity, with shareholders generally enjoying limited liability. The structures also differ in tax treatment, administration and compliance requirements. We help you assess which arrangement suits your business.

XBRL is a structured digital format used to submit financial information to ACRA. Where XBRL filing is required, we tag the financial statements in the applicable format, validate the information and assist with submission.

Yes. We provide payroll support for small teams as well as larger businesses. The service can include salary calculations, itemised payslips, applicable statutory contributions and annual employment income reporting.

The information required depends on the service. For accounting engagements, this generally includes bank statements, sales and purchase invoices, receipts, payroll information and previous financial statements, where available. We provide a checklist suited to your business and the agreed scope.

Our fees depend on the services required, transaction volume, reporting frequency and complexity of your business. After discussing your needs, we provide a quotation setting out the proposed scope and fees.
